In addition to that, she has been invited to speak about trade secrets, copyrights, patents, and trademarks.
Her experience extends to other areas of the industry. Dorothie worked at the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner, where she determined eligibility for patent applications in several areas. During that time, she examined applications for broadcast engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotic surgical devices, video conferencing, packet switching, real-time multimedia communications, and multiplexing.
Along with that, Dorothie has experience as an Electrical Engineer, where she worked at Siemens Gamesa (a Fortune 500 company) as part of a team that created, designed, and manufactured wind turbines.
For her legal experience, Dorothie is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Mercer University School of Law, where she trains the next generation of attorneys. She received her Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barry University School of Law.
