Joycelyn Brown


Joycelyn S. Brown, Esq. is the managing partner at IPS Legal Group, P.A. She received her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and spent several years as an engineer in the semiconductor field. In 2008, Ms. Brown received her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2008.After law school, Ms. Brown was an associate at one of Florida’s most respected law firms, representing companies in a wide range of legal matters, such as complex litigation, employment issues, intellectual property, and contract disputes. Along with that, Ms. Brown served as a law clerk to Judge Marcia Cooke on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Outside of the legal field, Ms. Brown was active in the Miami-Dade community as the President of the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Bar Association, Dade-County Bar Association member, and an advocate for women’s sports. Ms. Brown has received many accolades, including being recognized as one of the top 40 Under 40 Black Professionals in Miami for 2015. In addition to that, Ms. Brown teaches as an adjunct professor at Miami-Dade College.
